Changed Traffic Conditions for George Street and Surrounding Roads in South Windsor

Tuesday 4 November and Thursday 20 November 2025

Table of Contents

Motorists are advised to expect changed traffic conditions on George Street, Blacktown Road and Thorley Street in South Windsor over the coming weeks, as site investigations get underway.

Transport crews will be carrying out works over five night shifts between Tuesday 4 November and Thursday 20 November 2025, weather permitting. Night work will take place between 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday, with no work scheduled on Friday or Saturday nights.

During the investigation period, temporary traffic changes will be in place, including lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h. Traffic controllers will be on site to guide drivers safely through the work zone.

Motorists are urged to drive and ride to the conditions, allow extra travel time, and follow all signage and directions from traffic controllers.

Transport for NSW thanked residents and road users for their patience during these essential works.
