An earlier version of an article published today regarding regulatory action taken by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission against Christopher Malcolm Edwards included a reference to Deputy Mayor Councillor Sarah McMahon in connection with her employment at his firm.
Councillor McMahon was not the subject of any findings, allegations, investigations or regulatory action referred to in the article.
The reference has since been removed. The Gazette withdraws any unintended inference that Councillor McMahon was involved in the matters described and apologises for any distress caused.
