Hawkesbury Race Club will again transform the track into a relaxed lawn party when Groove on the Grass Raceday returns for its third consecutive year on Saturday, 7 March 2026.
A highlight on the Hawkesbury social calendar, the event combines live thoroughbred racing with music, food and premium hospitality, delivering a full day of entertainment both on and off the track. Set against the backdrop of the Hawkesbury racecourse, Groove on the Grass is designed for racegoers and social crowds alike.
Music will be headlined by popular saxophonist and DJ Nat Sax, supported by well-known local DJ Matt Ellings, creating a vibrant soundtrack throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy a range of food trucks, flowing drinks and a complete race program, highlighted by the $150,000 Provincial-Midway Championships Qualifier.
The popular Beats & Bites package returns in 2026, priced at $66, and will be hosted in the Ted McCabe Room. The package includes entertainment from DJ/MC Rusty of Smash ‘N’ Entertainment, canapés, a drinks voucher, digital racebook and access to private betting facilities.
