Women in the Hawkesbury region looking for a fun, social, and creative new activity are invited to join a six-week Learn to Sing A Cappella” workshop offered by the Circular Keys Chorus, based in nearby Bella Vista.

The workshop begins Wednesday, 18th February, running for six consecutive weeks from 7:30 to 10 pm. It welcomes women of all ages and singing abilities to learn vocal techniques and enjoy the unique experience of singing harmony without instrumental accompaniment.

Musical director Vicki Dwyer encourages anyone with a love of singing to take part. “Many members discover their ability to sing harmony for the first time through our workshops,” she said.

Since its founding in 1995, Circular Keys Chorus has become a respected group in Sydney’s music scene, performing regularly at community events and concerts. The chorus has earned numerous national awards and has proudly represented Australia several times at international competitions, most recently ranking among the top 20 women’s choruses worldwide.

For women in the Hawkesbury, joining the chorus offers more than just singing, it’s an opportunity to build friendships and gain confidence. Glenhaven resident Ann Keating says, “It’s the friendships and support we give each other. We all help one another get through life’s challenges.”

The six-week workshop costs $150. Participants who complete the course and wish to join the chorus will be supported through the membership process.

Women interested in registering can visit www.trybooking.com/DIIZM or find out more on the chorus’ Facebook page and website.
