Road users are advised of changed traffic conditions on The Driftway, between Blacktown Road and Londonderry Road as part of New Richmond Bridge Stage 1 works currently underway.
Night work will take place at:
- Londonderry Road intersection from Sunday 7 December to Thursday 18 December 2025 and 6 January to 22 January 2026, weather permitting.
- Blacktown Road intersection from Sunday 11 January to Thursday 22 January 2026, weather permitting.
Night shift hours are 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday.
Work activities will continue during standard work hours. The standard work hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm, Saturdays. We will not work on Sundays or public holidays.
While we complete our work there will be temporary traffic changes including lane closures and 40km/h to 60km/h reduced speed limits as required within work areas.
Traffic control will assist road users and pedestrians through the work area if required. Please keep to the speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs. Transport for NSW thanks road users for their patience during this time.
