As the new soccer season gets underway across the Hawkesbury, Colo Soccer Club is gearing up for another exciting year on the field  and the club is encouraging young players to get involved, with spots still available in its Under-12 team.

With registrations now open and training sessions beginning, the club is looking to welcome boys and girls who will be turning 12 years old or younger at any point during 2026. It’s an ideal opportunity for local families to introduce their children to the game, build skills, and become part of a supportive community environment.

Club representatives say the focus this season is not only on competition but also on development, teamwork, and enjoyment. “We’re all about creating a positive space where kids can learn the game, make friends, and grow in confidence,” a club spokesperson said. “Whether they’re new to soccer or have played before, everyone is welcome.”

Colo Soccer Club has long been a grassroots staple in the Hawkesbury sporting scene, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and community spirit. The Under-12 age group is particularly important, as it provides a bridge between junior introductory play and more structured competition.

With only a limited number of spots remaining, families are encouraged to register soon to secure a place before the season fills out. Training sessions are already underway, giving new players the chance to jump straight into the action.

Parents or guardians interested in signing up their children or seeking more information are encouraged to contact Sophie via email at admin@colosoccer.com.au.

As the winter sporting season begins, Colo Soccer Club is hoping to see plenty of new faces take to the field ready to learn, play, and enjoy everything the game has to offer.
