Applications are open from 1 March to 31 March 2026 for Round Two of the 2025/26 Community Sponsorship Program, run by Hawkesbury City Council. The program supports local individuals, community groups, and teams through three funding categories:

1. Resilient Hawkesbury

Grants up to $3,000 for community organisations running initiatives that build a connected, healthy, inclusive, and resilient Hawkesbury. Examples include workshops, support groups, and programs that bring people together.

2. Participation

Support for locals representing the Hawkesbury at state, national, or international sporting or cultural events. Individuals can receive $150, while teams of five or more can access up to $750.

3. Access to Community Facilities

Funding for not-for-profit community groups to help subsidise the cost of hiring Council or community facilities. Council provides 50% off the hire cost, up to a maximum contribution of $750.

Council aims to fund a diverse mix of activities in this round. In Round One (October 2025), funding helped:

  • Nine individuals through Participation
  • One community group with facility hire under Access to Community Facilities
  • Five organisations through Resilient Hawkesbury

Interested applicants are encouraged to read the Community Sponsorship Program Strategy Document, the assessment matrix, and FAQs before submitting.
