One Nation to Launch Branch in Hawkesbury

Tuesday, 14 July Hawkesbury Race Club

Pauline Hanson's One Nation will officially launch its new Macquarie Branch in the Hawkesbury next week as the party continues to expand its grassroots organisation ahead of the next federal election.

The inaugural branch meeting will be held on Tuesday, 14 July, at the Hawkesbury Race Club in Clarendon, where members will elect local office bearers and committee members responsible for leading the party's activities across the Macquarie electorate.

According to an invitation circulated by One Nation Headquarters, the meeting marks the formal establishment of the branch and is intended to "help establish the foundation of One Nation's local organisation within the electorate."

The meeting will be held in the Race Club's McCabe Function Room from 7pm.

Building a Local Organisation

The invitation encourages members to become actively involved in shaping the future of the branch through the election of local leadership positions.

"The meeting will focus on electing branch office bearers and committee members who will help guide the future growth and development of the branch," the invitation states.

Organisers have booked a venue capable of accommodating up to 200 people, with provision to expand capacity if required.

Tea and coffee refreshments will be available and audio-visual facilities have been arranged for the meeting.

Growing Political Contest

The launch comes as political parties begin increasing their campaign activity ahead of the federal election due before early 2028.

The Macquarie electorate, which includes the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and parts of western Sydney, has traditionally been one of New South Wales' more closely contested seats.

One Nation has contested Macquarie at previous federal elections and is seeking to strengthen its local membership base through the establishment of a formal branch.

The party says the new branch will provide members with greater opportunities to participate in policy discussions, campaign activities and local political organisation.

National Profile

Founded by Pauline Hanson in 1997, One Nation campaigns on issues including cost of living, energy policy, immigration, regional development and government accountability.

The party currently holds representation in several Australian parliaments and has sought to expand its organisational presence in New South Wales.

The Macquarie branch launch follows increased political activity across the region, with both major parties and minor parties beginning to position themselves ahead of forthcoming state and federal election campaigns.

The inaugural Macquarie Branch meeting will be held:
