The Poppets Junior 5, Junior 6 and Inter 3 teams all secured premiership victories in the 12pm timeslot, a fantastic achievement that highlights the club’s depth of talent, teamwork and strong development pathways. The wins are a proud moment for players, coaches, families and supporters, and reflect the club’s commitment to nurturing both skill and sportsmanship.
Established in 1970, Poppets Netball Club is one of the oldest and most respected clubs in the Hawkesbury region. With a long-standing community presence, the club has continued to grow and is now the third-largest club within the Hawkesbury City Netball Association.
Poppets Netball Club prides itself on being an inclusive, family-focused organisation that welcomes players of all ages and abilities. The club provides a fun and supportive environment where players can build confidence, develop skills and form lasting friendships, while learning the importance of teamwork, resilience and fair play.
A key benefit for families is the club’s consistent scheduling, with games played at the same time and location each week at the Hawkesbury Netball Courts, making participation easy to plan and maintain throughout the season.
Registrations for the upcoming season are now open and will close on 31 January. Players can register through the Poppets Netball Club Facebook page or via PlayHQ. The club encourages anyone interested in trying netball for the first time, or returning to the sport, to get involved.
