Richmond locals will have the chance to meet and hear from local authors and businesswomen at a special community event this month.
Women with Altitude and Richmond’s independent bookstore, The Book Attic, are hosting The Business Sisterhood x The Book Attic: Books, Business & Bubbles on Sunday 19 April from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
The event celebrates women in business and the newly published book The Business Sisterhood, which features 31 local businesswomen sharing lessons, tools, and encouragement for anyone building or growing a small business.
Guests will enjoy drinks and nibbles, listen to the authors speak, ask questions, and have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book. The event is aimed at women in business, aspiring entrepreneurs, side hustlers, and anyone looking for practical advice and inspiration from those who have walked the path themselves.
Andrea Turner-Boys, founder of Women with Altitude, said the event was designed to foster connection and support among women in business.
“This event is a celebration of local women, local stories, and the power of sharing knowledge. The Business Sisterhood was created to generously offer practical tools and encouragement to women in business, and we’re thrilled to bring that to life in partnership with The Book Attic.”
The Book Attic, Richmond’s newest independent bookstore, has made supporting local authors and community stories a priority. The collaboration with Women with Altitude highlights the importance of showcasing local talent and inspiring the next generation of business leaders.
