Motorists travelling through Marsden Park are being advised to expect changed traffic conditions along Richmond Road throughout May, as targeted night works roll out to improve safety along the busy corridor.
The work will focus on the stretch between the Hollinsworth Road/Townson Road intersection and just south of the Langford Drive/Alderton Drive intersection—an area that continues to see increasing traffic as the north-west growth corridor expands.
To minimise disruption during the day, crews will operate at night, with works scheduled for up to 10 nights at any one location across the month, weather permitting.
During these periods, drivers can expect temporary lane closures, traffic control measures, and reduced speed limits to ensure the safety of both road users and workers on site. Motorists are urged to take extra care, follow posted signage, and comply with directions from traffic controllers.
While the short-term inconvenience may slow journeys, the work forms part of ongoing efforts to keep Richmond Road operating safely and efficiently as demand continues to rise.
