Night works to impact traffic on Richmond Road

Night works will take place from 7pm to 7am on weekends until 17 May

Richmond Road Elara Boulevard

Motorists travelling along Richmond Road are being advised to plan ahead, with changed traffic conditions now in place as part of upcoming infrastructure works.

Transport for NSW will carry out out-of-hours works between Elara Boulevard and Clydesdale Farm Road, with activity scheduled to continue until Sunday, 17 May.

The work will involve testing of a water main north of Elara Boulevard, as well as at the intersection of Bolwarra Drive and Farewell Way part of ongoing efforts to support infrastructure in the rapidly growing corridor.

Drivers can expect a northbound lane closure on Richmond Road between Elara Boulevard and Hannah Morris Street during the works.

To manage traffic flow and maintain safety, traffic controllers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians, supported by signage where required. Road users are being urged to follow all directions and adhere to reduced speed limits through the work zone.

Night works will take place from 7pm to 7am on weekends, a schedule designed to minimise disruption during peak daytime traffic periods.

While the works are temporary, authorities are reminding drivers to allow extra travel time and exercise caution when travelling through the area.

The project forms part of ongoing infrastructure coordination across Sydney’s north-west growth areas, where road and utility upgrades continue to support expanding communities.
