The Hawkesbury Show once again came alive with colour, movement, and community spirit, thanks to the incredible performances by Off Centre Dance Company. With high energy, polished routines, and contagious enthusiasm, the dancers captivated audiences and showcased the true joy of performance.
Crowds were also delighted by the appearance of the much-loved Off Centre mascots Poppie and Lockie, who added an extra layer of fun as they roamed the grounds, posing for photos and entertaining families throughout the day.
Off Centre Dance Company also played a major role behind the scenes, with their dedicated team working tirelessly to coordinate a seamless program of dancing, singing and cheer routines.
Their ongoing commitment and organisation helped ensure the Hawkesbury Show remained a standout event on the local calendar.
The event also celebrated the depth of local talent, with a number of dance schools delivering outstanding performances that reflected the strength and passion within the Hawkesbury arts community.
For many families, these performances hold a special meaning. I have personally been lucky enough to watch my own daughter, Lilah, grow up dancing with Off Centre since she was just three years old. Once quiet and reserved, she has blossomed into a confident young lady, a transformation that speaks volumes about the supportive and empowering environment the studio provides.
With another successful year wrapped up, the Hawkesbury community is already looking ahead with excitement to what 2027 will bring, promising even more talent, creativity, and unforgettable moments.
