Motorists travelling through Marsden Park are being advised that overnight traffic changes on Hollinsworth Road have been extended until Monday 15 June as roadwork continues in the area.
The work zone is located between Richmond Road and Chifley Glade and will operate between 8pm and 5am, weather permitting. Crews are expected to continue working from Sunday night through to Friday morning, up to five nights each week, with no work scheduled on public holidays.
Traffic conditions will change throughout the night to allow the work to be carried out safely.
Between 8pm and 10pm, traffic will continue under single lane closure arrangements. From 10pm through until 5am, Hollinsworth Road will be fully closed to traffic.
During the overnight full closure, several detours will be in place for motorists:
• Southbound traffic on Richmond Road will be diverted via Hawthorne Avenue and Harris Avenue.
• Northbound traffic on Richmond Road will be diverted via Langford Drive and Chifley Glade.
• Westbound traffic on Townson Road will be diverted via Richmond Road, Langford Drive and Chifley Glade.
• Eastbound traffic on Hollinsworth Road will be diverted via Chifley Glade and Langford Drive.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow signage and directions from traffic controllers.
