Something exciting is cooking at The Little Social in Kurmond! The venue is extending trading hours to welcome weekend visitors travelling through the Hawkesbury along Bells Line of Road.

The Little Social team have a seemingly endless passion for serving good food and bringing people together they are now making the experience available on Saturdays and Sundays, giving travellers the chance to stop for a pie, a coffee and a little Hawkesbury hospitality on their way through the district.

The Little Social has already become a familiar early-morning stop for locals looking for a cuppa and breakfast, but the move into weekend trading opens the doors to a much wider audience.

For visitors heading towards Bilpin, Mount Tomah and the Blue Mountains or simply exploring the Hawkesbury for the day it provides another reason to stop in Kurmond rather than simply drive through.

Hawkesbury Mayor Les Sheather only recently officially opened The Little Social, celebrating the arrival of another local hospitality offering in the district.

Having stopped in for a morning coffee and breakfast, the Mayor may now need to put a return visit on the calendar, with pies and lunch-time fare joining the attraction during the extended weekend hours.

The expansion is also good news for the Hawkesbury’s visitor economy.

Small hospitality businesses along Bells Line of Road play an important role in shaping visitors’ impressions of the region, whether they are heading to orchards, gardens, accommodation, national parks or attractions further up the mountain.

A good coffee, a freshly made pie and a friendly conversation can be as much a part of the Hawkesbury experience as the destination itself.

The Little Social is about more than simply serving food. It is about creating a place where people can stop, slow down and enjoy some company.

Now it will not just be locals who get to appreciate that approach.

Visitors from across Sydney and beyond travelling along one of the Hawkesbury’s best-known tourist routes will also have the opportunity to pull in, enjoy some good food and experience the warm welcome for which the district is known.

So, whether it is breakfast on the way up Bells Line of Road or a pie and coffee around lunchtime, there is now another reason to stop at Kurmond and enjoy a little social time.

PS this is not a paid advertorial for the Little Social, just a good wrap for a good feed.
